Jewry Rodriguez: a Houston fighter steps into the spotlight
The Houston boxer is scheduled to headline her first event under the BiYu banner.
BiYu lists Rodriguez as an orthodox fighter from Houston and gives her professional record as 1–0. Her event listing names Chantal Sumrall as her opponent.
Before turning professional, Rodriguez built an amateur résumé that USA Boxing credits with a 2021 Junior Pan American gold medal and a 2020 youth national title. BiYu announced her promotional signing in October; November is her debut with the promotion, not her professional debut.
Her profile and event listing use different division labels; the matchup is listed at bantamweight.
